Bernardo Zanotta (Porto Alegre, 1996) is a Brazilian visual artist and filmmaker based in Amsterdam. He holds a bachelor degree in Moving Image from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie where he is currently a fellow at LAPS (Lectoraat Art & Public Space). His films have been screened and awarded at festivals such as Locarno, Oberhausen, Queer Lisboa and Vilnius, amongst others, and streamed on platforms such as Kinoscope. In recent years, he has exhibited in art spaces such as Nieuwe Vide, SIGN, Hotel Maria Kapel, Stockholm Supermarket Artfair and PS Mirabel. He is a member of the artist-run film lab, Filmwerkplaats Rotterdam, and collaborates with the production companies If You Hold a Stone (BR), Near/by film (NL) and Venin (FR). Additionally he also programs artists' films in the Netherlands at Filmhuis Cavia and WORM.
